too long

I swear I am the worst blogger on the planet. It seems as though the simplest yet most impotrant things get pushed to the wayside when things get busy.
The new apartment is delightfully bright, so much so that the lack of shade cover allows every sound to float through our wondows as soon as the sun comes up. Nights are shorter and my inability to sleep late mixed with a busy teaching schedule are starting to catch up with me. I long for a sunny day lounging on the couch that we have yet to stuff through our patio windows, mixed with mindless daytime t.v and napping...perhaps tomorrow.
It is crazy for me to think that an entire year has passed since finishing school. Today as I wander through Bayside I see the newest round of TOC competition walk the halls. I have come so far but not really.
Summer will soon be here, and with it ponderances of the Man and work, beach days and camping, trips home to meet the new puppy and the not so new cousin.
Hmmm, things will be great as soon as I catch up on some sleep and finishing unpacking those last few boxes.
