1 more sleep

The past 11 days have been wonderful and so very chaotic, starting with a sister excursion to Seattle, ending with bundles of newspapers and ladders.

Jess is in the closing stages of relocating herself to Hawaii! Well, the job is being lined up and the TV has been unofficially given away.

I can see her now, big green eyes staring blankly at the screen

a hand reaches up, "oh shit," hand goes down. Words she does not recognize, abcd abcd abcd. After 50 short minutes she finds herself being driven back to the hotel where her sleep eyed sister is only beginning to think of tossing off the down comforter.

2 days of convincing herself and everyone around her that there was no way she could have passed the exam ended with a simple phone call to me confirming that she had in fact aced the exam rather than failed it. We celebrated in proper Seattle style: food, shopping, tasty beverages, shopping and The Facts of Life!

As I sit and write my eye passes over the various shades of my new home peppering my yet unshowered arms! A smile and a sigh of relief follow, 1 more sleep.
Within 36 short hours the ghastly blue that would make any warm-blooded person cringe has been all but erased. In it's place the creamiest, warmest, toasty colours.

We move tomorrow which is barely soon enough after being woken up at 5:50 am this wonderful Monday morning to:
"Come out with your hands up!" (apparently hollered at a nasty bad guy who was probably already out of ear-shot) Thank you to Victoria's less than shining heroes.

there is no way that it has been as long as that!
I truly haven't finally arrived at a point where I not only earn enough to start paying off those nasty student loans but I also have a little left over to pop off for a leisurely weekend of shopping and dining with my ever-wondering sister in Seattle.
what's even more:
in 2 weeks I will be moving into a home with the most wonderful walls to hang family pictures upon, where my boy will have his own closet and I can wash ALL of my laundry naked.
Life is sweet...
